See: Concept: Values
However, Robert Glazer takes a more personal approach to identification of Values. Glazer is concerned with the process of identification of Values for personal reasons and not for the purposes of Community Building.
Here are four questions that Robert Glazer recommends to help discover your Core Values:
- In what non-work environments are you highly engaged?
- In what professional roles or jobs did you do your best work?
- What help, advice, or qualities do others come to you for?
- What do you want said about you in your eulogy?
In our view, the values that can be discovered through such a questioning process may be aid in personal growth, but not necessarily in bonding or finding community.
